I waited until the absolute last minute to use my Rue La La credit, since the $20 signup credit (no longer available) expired today.  I had $30 in credits total and I used them to get two pairs completely free Havianas flip flops.  I *live* in flip flops when the weather is warmer, so this was a nice freebie.  The two packs are $19.90 and shipping is a flat $9.95 no matter what you order.  As I was browsing through the site I saw I missed out on a lot of awesome deals, I could have had two sets of Calvin Klein towels for free too, but they were sold out.

December 30, 2010

I was able to purchase 16 pairs of pajamas for my daughter's for just $36.85.  That works out to $2.30 each!  They ranged in price really from $1.92 - $6...and $30-$34 at their full prices.  My reciept said I saved nearly $500.  Wow!  Now my kiddos don't really need 8 new pairs of pajamas each right now and these will last I am thinking another two years on the size they fit now so I also purchased the next size up to put away.  Four pairs they got now, and the other four pairs (each, so 8 total) were put away for later.

How I managed this was, I was shopping online when I saw they had some amazing prices on Disney pajama sets, $1.92 for pant sets and $2.40 for nightgown/wand sets.  I had some in my cart when they went out of stock.  I printed the pages with the prices/descriptions and went to Kohl's the next day where they happily matched the online prices for me!  The sets were already on clearance in the store, but for $5-$7 each.  I did end up paying $6 each for two of the nightgowns, online they had been less expensive but I hadn't printed the page with that particular type of nightgown so there was no way they could match that price.  $6 was still not bad for a nice flannel gown though, and considering the amazing deal I was getting on the others I went ahead and got them.

I also got %15 off for applying for a Kohl's card!  Woohoo!

Rite Aid:  .99...and that's all I remember w/o looking at my reciept.

Actually, I do remember now that I think about it, the beef jerkey was $1.99...and I got $1 UP for each one, but I can't remember if they were $2.99 and the $1 UP made them $1.99, or if they WERE $1.99 and the $1 UP made them .99 after UP.  Eh.

The Hormel Compleats/Simply Asia were $1.99 with a $1 UP, and I used a $1 coupon on each making them free.

I *do* remember I only paid .99 after my coupons/UP rewards.

 Walgreens:  $1.xx (.66 I think...hubby threw in the Hershey's bar...he likes to sabotage my totals...hehe)

I got back $7.

Rite Aid:  All I remember is I spent less than $1 and I got back $3 more in UPs than I used.  Terrible, I know, LOL.  The Hormel was the same deal as above.  The Colgate was $3.50 with a $3.50 UP on each.  I used one $1 coupon on those.  Tape was b1g1, with a $1 UP on each.  The foam kits were $2.99 each and I used one $5/2 coupon.  The Revlon nail stuff was 40% off and I thiiiink I got UPs for it...fairly sure there is also a rebate and I also used a $3 coupon that basically made them free.  I also used a $5/$25...

NOT the best post in the world here in regards to detail...just trying to clear off my camera.  If/when I find the reciepts (I need to, especially since I need to enter them online for the Rite Aid rebates) I'll update this the right way.  ;o)

Tom's of Maine

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Toms of Maine. All opinions are 100% mine.

Tom's Of Maine is a company that focuses on natural product for your personal care needs and oral health.  I love that they create natural products that actually work, and that I can actually find in places that already shop.

One of the great products that they offer is their Wicked Fresh mouthwash.  I *love* the name... and I love the product even more. All the minty fresh benefits that a good mouthwash should have, stops bad breath, and none of the burn... you know, that chemical/alcohol burn that some mouthwashes have?  Yeah.  It just stings.  There is none of that with this stuff.

Their Wicked Fresh toothpaste, provides cavity protection, and freshens breath, with their all natural flavor oils, and their patent-pending botanical extract.

Right now, you can head on over to the That's Wicked Fresh contest page and enter to win prizes!  Just share one of your favorite Wicked Fresh moments, experiences, or discoveries... you could win a $500 Target gift card (oh man, I could stretch that so far!), among other prizes.  Awesome!  Or should I say "wicked!"?  :o)

After you enter the contest, you should check them out on Facebook (I know they have offered free samples there before!), or on Twitter @TomsofMaine
