  • 4 Glade candle tins - $1.66/each.  Used $1.50 coupons on each, .16/each.
  • Quaker Oatmeal (30pack!) - cleranced to $3.48.  Used a $1 coupon.  $2.48
  • Gilette body wash - $1.99.  Used a $2 coupon.  Free and .01 overage
  • 2 Old Spice travel size - .82/each.  Used a $3/2 coupon (specifically stated that the travel size was fine to use it on!! I thought that was awesome), anyway, free plus $1.36 overage!
  • 2 Degree deodorants - .97/each.  Used a $1 coupon on each.  Free plus .03 overage/each.
  • 1 Rimmel mascara - $2.24.  Used a $3 coupon. Free plus .76 overage.
  • 5 Special K bars - $2.50 each.  Used a $1/2 Target coupon, and 2 $1/2 mfr coupons...so $9.50/5 or $1.90/box.  I rolled a $5 gift card into this deal and got another one back so really just .90/box :o)

I didn't really need/want either of these, but I had ECBs expiring and I wanted to "roll" them so I didn't lose them.

1 Earinse - $7.99
1 Colgate - $2.99

Used a $1 coupon the Colgate, and a $10 ECB (adjusted down to $9.98).  Paid $0.00 (hehe), and got back $9.99 in ECBs.

1 Goody hair ties - $2.99
1 Gilette Fusion - $8.99
1 ICEE (not pictured) because my husband haaad to have it and mess up my numbers ;o)  - $1.59

I used a $4 coupon on the razor and a $1 RR.  I had a gift card I "cashed in" my points for from My Points, so I paid with that.  $9.39 on the gift card (all freeeee for me) and earned $6 in RR.

After Target we browsed Kmart...I wanted to see if they had any good Valentine's clearance, but they didn't...I did find a few good things though :o)

I was just walking by and saw these had "Try Me Free" stickers on them.  They were actually coupons stuck right to them, not rebates...so they were all 3 free!  Never know when they might come in handy I guess???  lol.  I hesitated posting this one, but hey, they were freeeeee with coupons which is the name of the game with the blog.  :o)

They had a lot of clearanced clothes and an additional 40% off of the marked price.

2 Barbie shirts - $1.79/each!!  (wish they had one in MY size, haha)
2 sets of 2 tank tops - $3.58/set

I obviously like to dress my girls nicely, and I have very picky taste, but it's entirely possible to dress your kids nicely on a BUDGET!  I rarely spend more than $5/item of clothing, no matter where I shop...Gymboree, TCP, Kmart, Target, Sears...wherever!  Every once in awhile I splurge, but they stain things, grow out of them so quickly, etc...as long as they are clean and presentable, I don't feel the need to spend a ton of money on their clothes.  Heck, I don't often spend much on my own clothes :o)

It was awesome to find these because I had just put a pairs of pajamas in my shopping cart (online) at Victoria's Secret, and then changed my mind when my total was over $100.  I just couldn't do it, lol.  I really did need some new 'jammies though, so I scooped these up.  They are nice and big and comfy (and yeah, I need XL, no shame.  I'm tall, even before I had kids I needed XL just for the *length*).  I picked up 3 pairs for $5.99 each.  Now that I could handle paying without feeling like I couldn't breathe, haha ;o)

They were originally $18.99, too :o)  And super comfy.  I'm backdating this and I can add that I totally went back in for another pair later on in the week when I was in the area again.

Just a little Target fun.  I didn't go in on a mission or anything, haha.  The girls were with grandma, so hubby and I went to browse.

There are 7 or 8 of these bears (I forget and I can't tell from the picture).  They were $1.99 on Valentine's clearance, and had $4 Target coupons stuck to them!!  The coupons were adjusted down to $1.99, but still, free bears!!  I added one to a belated Christmas gift, two are going to work with my husband for the small children of two of his coworkers...and the rest will be donated, I think I'll put nice green ribbons on the red bears for Christmas donations.  They're sitting on the highest shelf in my closet right now :o)

I know, I know, it's sickening how much I plan ahead sometimes...  Anyways, all of these were 75% off, and just .70 a box. They are all really nice Valentine's too, with pencils, stickers, tattoos, or holographic cards...and really, I'd pay .70 for just the "stuff" in them, the pencils, stickers, tattoos, etc... think outside the box, birthday party favors, etc!!  You don't have to use the Valentine's...I'm thinking of using the Hello Kitty "stuff" in birthday bags and just letting the girls play with the cards.  :o)  How much would you pay for 16-32 character items at Party City?  A lot more than just .70 I'm sure.  :o)  I did try to stick with timeless characters so by the time the girls are in school, we won't ever have to run out at the last minute for stuff like this and be stuck paying full price.

5 packs of Keebler cookies, $1.52/pack.  Got back a $5 gift card for buying 5!  So sort of like .52 a pack! :o)

The Hello Kitty stickers in the box were .30-.60 I think, I forget.  I am backdating again, of course ;o)

3 packs of 2 socks from the V-Day clearance were $1/pack.
3 pairs of socks from the Dollar Spots clearance were .50/pair.

2 Brush/Comb sets - .50 each
4 lunch bag sets - .25 each  (I thought they were so cute!  The girls love cars, and especially fire trucks...and I am not above packing a snack in one of those and sticking it in my husband's lunch box ;o)  haha)
2 States board books - .25 each

I had these in my cart and went to check out with them, but the cashier wouldn't accept my $2 coupons for the $1.66 candles.  She called over the team leader and she said "no can do."  I beg to differ! :o)  I went to call customer service but it was too late, I couldn't get through to anyone.  Then I remembered I had printed the coupon policy and highlighted where it said they most certainly can adjust coupons down and accept them.  I totally marched my happy butt back in there and got my candles for free, haha.  :o)

Got back in ECBs...

$5 for the Covergirl, making it free

$3.50 for the Crest, making it free plus $2 overage (paid for those .79 razors! lol)
$2 for the Aussie, making it free
$2 for the pencils, making them free

So I spent .30 out of pocket, used $12.98 in ECBs, but got back $14.50 in ECBs.
