Used a $2.50 RR.

Before tax total would have been .38...   however my husband has a bit of an addiction to Icees...  and I picked one up for him so that added $1.29 to my total and I don't know if that was taxed or not to figure out the "coupon total," hehe.  I paid for all with a gift card I'd received from MyPoints.

Earned $3 for the Stayfree :o)

CVS:

4 Coca Cola 2-liters - $1 each.  Used $1/2 hangtags found on them in the store - .50 each.

April 20, 2010

Just a little something that was in my mailbox recently...  :o)  Rebates, survey checks...  Helps to fuel my coupon shopping excursions!

A free book, courtesy of Bethlehem Books!  I think this was a Facebook promotion.

I should take pictures of all the neat stuff I get in the mail, and do a compilation post once a week...maybe on Sundays.  We'll see if I can manage to be that organized.  ;o)

April 19, 2010

Woohoo, if you use Facebook, you can become a fan of Rayovac and get a $1 coupon!  You can find these priced at just $1 at Target (usually in the Dollar Spot), and though I have not price checked them myself at Walmart, I hear they are free after coupon there too!
Now, if only I had ink in my printer, haha!

April 10, 2010

Weis:

15 bags/boxes of vegetables, completely FREE!

They were on sale for $1 each, and I had .50 coupons that doubled, thanks to my mom, who ordered them from ebay and shared half with me! :o)  Weis will only double 4 like coupons in a single transaction, so I split these up into four...  love those receipts with the $0.00 balance due!

I checked the mail before I went shopping and found my coupon from Facebook for the free bag of Sunchips!

Sunchips - free
Texas Toast croutons/tortilla strips - .50/bag after coupons (.50 & .75)!

Found a ton of Easter clearance left, scored four boxes of Disney egg decorating kits for .30 each, plus the window clings for .15 each (used the fairies and the Princess & the Frog stuff in the girls' room on their window, just for fun.  Left off the eggs so it wasn't at all Easter-ish!)

And somehow the Cheerio's Snack Mix was left out of one of the above pictures, so I threw it into this one.  It was on sale for $1.50, used a .50 coupon, so I paid .50 for it.  :o)

April 9, 2010

Kmart Doubles!

These were definitely not as fun this year, with the new 5 coupon limit.  I went today with my mom and she used coupons for me, and I was able to use my husband's Shop Your Way card as well so my limit was 15.

Date Night

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of 20th Century Fox. All opinions are 100% mine.

I don't know about you, but with two preschoolers, and my husband's demanding training in the fire academy, we I don't get the chance to go out on a date night that often.   When we do get the opportunity (thanks, grandma!), we tend to go out to dinner and maybe catch a movie.  When we went on our first date, he took me to the movies (so cliche, but I don't care, we had a nice time!).  We were able to go a few weeks ago and I remember seeing the poster for the new Date Night Movie and thinking it looked interesting.  Especially since you can't really go wrong with Steve Carell or Tina Fey.  It's bound to be hilarious!  The poster certainly left me wanting to know just exactly what went on during their date.  "Date Night" will start to play in theaters this Friday, April 9th!  Hey mom, want to babysit?  ;o)

Have you heard about this movie yet?  Check out this trailer and see what you think!

If this sounds like the type of movie you might be interested in, will you be going to see it in theaters, or waiting until it's out on dvd?  This sounds like the perfect movie for a date night (I'm so funny right?  ::crickets chirp::  No?  Okay, then, carry on.) to me!

You can also check out this article written in the NY Times for more information about the movie.

Franklin Goose, has definitely earned a loyal customer in me. Their customer service is fantastic, they have a great selection, their products are wonderful, and they have a flat rate of $5 for shipping!

I posted about it before, but last month they had a promotion where you could receive $5 in store credits for every review you did on the products they carry. As a mother of two, who has cloth diapered, and breastfed, I found I had used MANY of the products they carry. I was able to do enough reviews to earn $150 in credits. What a generous offer for them to have put forth! I highly suggest that the next time you are in need of something for your child, or for a baby shower or birthday party, that you check them out.

As for my credits? I was able to order all of this, for $2.30 out of my own pocket. TWO DOLLARS AND THIRTY CENTS!  Amazing.

Boudreaux’s Butt Paste

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you ever tried Boudreaux’s Butt PasteI would love to know what you think about it.  I remember when I was pregnant with my oldest kiddo, seeing the name while reading about all the baby products I might or might not need and just laughing and laughing.  What a funny name!  I still giggle every time I see it in the store (why, yes, I *am* a twelve year old boy).  It is highly recommended (even by pediatricians!), I have been told on several occasions by parents I've spoken to how wonderfully it works.  Now this might be totally TMI, but my youngest is still in diapers and OH. MY. GOODNESS. can this little girl stink up a diaper.  I swear this child has toxic poo sometimes, so I am often slathering her with diaper cream/ointment, and of course, like any mom, I always want to use something that is going to soothe and protect her skin.  Now, I have not personally used this product, unfortunately...but I do think I need to remedy that (and I also think they need to put out some good coupons for me to make use of, haha!).  Did you know that you can get a free sample of Boudreaux’s Butt PasteYep!  Just head on over here to find out how:  http://www.blairex.com/BLButtPaste.php.  While you're there, you can read about all the great benefits of this diaper cream.  Did you know it was designed by a pharmacist and a pediatrician?  I just read that, how neat!

Used $14.99 in ECBs, paid .10, and got back $15.98 in ECBs.

I totally did my math wrong before I went in and had to grab the candy bars at checkout to get my total up enough.  Whoops!  If I'd done my math right I would have bought something more useful, but I didn't want to  hold up the register.
Walgreens,

Kotex U - $3.49 - $1 mfr coupon
Walgreens Sandwich Bags - .99 w/ in ad coupon.

Used a $3 RR.

.54, paid with gift card.  Earned $2.50 RR.
Just a few pictures I snapped while I was putting together Easter baskets.  I think I spent about $5 for each basket!

I got a sheet of stickers in the mail (free!) so I decided to save them, and cut them out to stick in eggs.

Picked up a couple boxes of these "movie theater" candies at Weis when they were on sale 5/$1 (.20 a box!)...opened them up and used them to fill plastic eggs.

Grabbed a pack of Fruit Strip gum in the checkout lane one day, I think it was about .50, and I used 2-3 sticks to fill eggs with.

Some random pictures...  they each have several books, all were free to me, bought using Amazon gift cards I'd received for doing surveys!  Same with the Melissa & Doug puzzles, and the dvds of Charlotte's Web (for Charlotte), and Thumbelina (for Ava).  The hula hoops were $1 (from Dollar Tree), as were the baskets.  The plastic eggs were reused from last year.  The sidewalk chalk was $1.xx from Target.  The Jelly Bellys were like .50 from the checkout lanes, and the lollipops/Tinkerbell candy were clearance deals I posted about awhile ago, they were I think marked down to about .30 each and were fillers for Walgreens deals so I'm fairly certain they were free.  The little ballet slippers were Target's $ Spot clearance, .25 each.

This is just one I made up for my cousin :o)

Just a few sale/coupon items at Target.

The wipes were $3.xx on clearance.  The Buddies bars were free after coupons.  The Tag book was $2 I think after a $3 coupon, and the Purex was $3.99 but I will get $3.99 back in a rebate because I finally found a rebate tag/form!

Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'...

Walgreens over the course of Friday and Saturday!  Started with a $2 RR and a $10 gift card I'd received from MyPoints.  And yes, I totally took pictures in the car.  My husband grabbed my camera on the way out the door and stuck it in the car, so I figured I might as well use it, lol.

Free!  $0.00 (used a $2 RR)...got a $2 RR in return.

Used the $2 RR from the first transaction and paid $1 for these vitamins (they were $3), and got back a $3 RR.

Used the $3 RR from above, a $1.50 coupon on the Dove, and an in ad coupon on the tuna.  Paid .43 on my gift card, and got back a $4 RR.

Used the $4 RR from above, and a $7 coupon on the Whitestrips (saw them on clearance, a double pack! they were $7.87 before the coupon, and my grandmother has been wanting to try them, I scooped those right up for .87, lol!).  Paid $2.35 (tax included) on my gift card, and got back a $3 RR and a $2 RR.

Then I went home, LOL.

Next day...  we were out and about any way and Walgreens is not far from us...

But first, a stop at CVS (it's right across the street from Walgreens, haha)

(cute kid wanted to be in the picture)
Totally messed up in there...I had an expired CVS coupon for the Huggies ($4!), and an expired ECB ($4!)...  so sad! :o(  My store doesn't take expired coupons.  So I used more ECBs than I wanted to...  but I only spent $1.47, which I put on a gift card (also from MyPoints, so it cost me nothing!), and got back a $5 ECB.

And now back to Walgreens... ;o)

Used a $1.50 coupon on the Dove, and a $3 RR.  Paid .74 on my gift card. Earned a $4 RR.

Used a $4 RR from above transaction, and paid $1 on my gift card (I would totally pay $1 for vitamins anyway, hubby always needs them).  Earned a $3 RR and a $2 RR.

Did NOT go back in, LOL.

Still have (or had, I did go back in today, hehe) $7 in RR.  So basically since I spent about $5.50 on everything (using my gift card, which was free to me), I got everything free (3 floss, 3 vitamins, 2 Dove hair care, 1 two-pack Crest whitestips, 1 box raisins, 1 can tuna) and made a profit of $1.50 for spending $5.50...or, since the gift card was free, everything was free and I made a profit of $7 for using some of it.  Either way...good shopping!  :o)
