Total cost? $6.42... for 50 items!! $3.09 of that, was the tax! Not bad, and I was even overcharged on a few things...just about .65 total (I think...I didn't fine tooth comb the reciept). And no, I'm not going to go back for my .65 either, lol... but, I will submit the reciept for the $5 Glade rebate!! So if you take that off the cost I only spent $1.42 for all that, but I don't really figure things that way...I still spent the money out of pocket, the $5 will just be a little addition to savings.
- 4 Pull Ups
- 1 Huggies Diapers
- 4 Glade scented oil candle refill packs
Spent $26.76... and got back a $12 Kmart coupon for buying (what was before coupons) $50 in SC Johnson products. Didn't like spending $26.76, but that's really not bad for what I was buying, and then when you consider the $12 coupon...not too bad I guess. I can also submit this for a Caregivers Marketplace rebate..I think it's .75 per pack of diapers, so that'd be $3.75.
Took that $12 coupon and picked up Charlotte's Halloween costume. I spent $8.95 total for:
- 1 Snow White costume
- 4 Glade candle tins
The costume was $19.99, and the candles were $2.50...not bad if I do say so myself :o) I can also submit this for the Glade $5 rebate too...there is a limit of 3 on that!
August 22, 2009
1 Milk Bone treats - FREE (used the coupon I got last trip)
- 1 Cocoa Krispies - .25 after a $1 coupon
- 1 Venom energy drink - used free item coupon
- 3 Duracell batteries - $3 each after $1.50 coupons
- 1 Clean & Clear face wash - .49 after $2 coupon
- 2 Glade candle tins - FREE after $2 coupons
- 1 glass Glade scented oil candle holder - FREE after $2 coupon
- 1 Axe Shampoo - used free item coupon
- 1 Axe Shampoo - .99 after $2 coupon
- 1 Axe Body Wash - $1.29 after $1.50 coupon
I would NOT have normally paid that much for the Axe, but because I spent $2.28 on 3 Axe products, I got a free movie ticket! That made it worth it...and I guesssss when you figure it's only .76 each it's not a bad deal on the Axe either.
I honestly have NO idea what a good price on batteries is... but my mom said $3 a pack was good and we needed some, so... buy I did. I ended up spending $12.xx... not happy with that, but hey, we needed the batteries and the movie ticket was a good deal. I also used a $3 off Kmart coupon...it beeped (which is odd, but maybe not enough cleaning products, maybe that's what they're considering consumable??), but the cashier pushed it through, so that is nice or my total would have been $15.xx and I probably would have died. LOL. No, not really but that's unheard of for me and The Doubles since I learned how to coupon. :o)
- 4 Nature's Source cleaners - FREE after $1 coupons
- 1 Cocoa Krispies - .25 after $1 coupon
- 4 Dove deos - FREE after $2 coupons
- 1 Revlon nail clippers - .79 after $1 coupon (thought I got the ones that would be free...but oh well)
- 1 Duracell batteries - $3
Not pictured, M&M minis for the kids (.89/each). Daddy thought they needed a treat :o)
Tried the $3 coupon again, and it beeped, and he had used a different cashier than I did, and she did not push it through (she did let him use 11 coupons though). Oh well, you win some you lose some...no big deal. Paid $6.xx... could have been worse... we could have not used coupons. Ohhhh, the horror that would be. ;o)
August 21, 2009
- 4 Glade sprays - $1.29 each, used two Buy 1 Get 1 Free coupons, made all four FREE.
- 3 Glade Scented Oil refill packs - .33 each (used two $1.50 coupons, and one Buy2Get1)
- 1 Listerine Pocket pack - free after $1 coupon doubled.
- 2 Clean & Clear face wash - .49 each after $2 coupons.
- 3 Scrubbing Bubbles - .50 each
- 2 Glade Scented Oil Tins - Free after $2 coupons doubled (cashier actually put these in manually and just doubled to $4 so I got a little overage..they didn't want to scan)
The Glade refill packs and the Tins were an awesome deal... if you had coupons to start with, there are $1.50 coupons on any refill or candle in the Tins, use those to get the refill pack for .49, and in the refill packs (the 3 packs...most anyway) are $2 coupons and the Buy 2 Get 1 Free coupons for the refill packs. Just keep on rolling them to get the tins free and the refill packs for .33 each!

- 1 Lysol Neutra Air double pack - FREE after using a $1.50 coupon
- 1 Crunch 'n Clean dog biscuits - FREE after $2 coupon
- 1 Nature's Source cleaner - FREE after $1 coupon
- 2 Glade sprays - FREE after a Buy 1 Get 1 coupon doubled.
- 4 Glade candle tins - FREE after $2 coupons doubled.
- 2 Party Mix cat treats - FREE after $1 coupons doubled.
Used the $3 off Edible or Consumable coupon first, and it scanned just fine...

I swiped my card to pay, and then when I got outside wondered how on earth I ended up having to pay anything but tax... and then we noticed the negative behind the total!! They ended up crediting us $2.23!! Cashier must not have noticed either. So everything was free, tax was paid for by the $3 Kmart coupon, and they PAID ME TO SHOP. Even if you figure I spent $1.03 on the first set of items, I still came out ahead.
August 19, 2009
- 4 Rice Krispies -used 3 $1 coupons, and 1 Free Item coupon. Made 3 boxes, .25/each and one, obviously, free, haha :o)
- 6 Glade scented oil candle refill packs - Used 4 $1.50 coupons, and two Buy 2 Get 1 Free coupons (they beeped, cashier pushed them through). Worked out to paying $1.96 for 6 packs, or just .33 each! (they were $3.49 originally)
- 4 double packs of Fancy Feast wet cat food - Used two Buy 1 Get 1 Free coupons... made all four *8 since they were double packs* FREE!
- 2 Party Mix cat treats - Used a Buy 1 Get 1 Free coupon, that doubled to make both free!!
I can't find my reciept so I'm not sure what I spent exactly with tax (I'm back-dating here, it's been a few days), but it was around $3. I will also get back a $5 gift card for buying the Rice Krispies!!!
(THAT was fun, it didn't print out for me when I bought them like it was supposed to, but after some calling around, Kmart came through and next time I went in, I was able to pick up a rebate form at the Customer Service Desk).
- 1 Satin Care shave gel -.69 after using a $1 coupon. (not free...boo..but, I needed it, haha)
- 3 Glade scented oil refill packs - .33 each after coupons (same as mentioned above)
- 2 Renu travel packs - FREE after using a $2 coupon on each
- 1 Visine -FREE after a $2 coupon.
- 1 Clean & Clear Advantage treatment - $2.49 after a $2 coupon...not bad for something that was $6.49 and I usually end up paying around $5 for.
- 2 Ajax dish detergents - FREE after $1 coupons
- 1 Glade carpet powder - .19 after $1 coupon.
Spent around $5 after tax for that one.

2pack of Reach toothbrushes, free
4 Snapples, free
3 Edge shave gel, free
1 Dove deodorant, free
2 packs of gum, .30/each (Charlotte grabbed one and chewed the package open while I was checking out, so I had to get that, and then I needed about .20 more anyway to get my total before coupons up to $50 to use the $5 off $50 coupon, so I bought another one, lol)
Reach floss, free
4 Glade candle tins, .29/each
Dora the Explorer Candyland, $3
Pictureka card game, .99
Barbie pets pack, $1.25
Act Mouthwash, .59

June 15, 2009
Walgreens 6/5:

I messed up HORRIBLY. I let a $5 register reward EXPIRE. I almost said just put everything back, LOL. Actually, I did say that, but then I said oh what the heck. I was paying with a gift card I'd won from Coke anyway.
Anyway, I got 2 boxes of Kleenex, each were .55 on clearance. The Dawn was free after a $1 coupon and the store coupon that made it .99. The Ecotrin was $2 and I had a $2 coupon, so that was free. The Kerasal was $7.99, and I had a $1 coupon... total was like $8.50, and I got back $9 in RR (5, 2, and 2)... One box of Ecotrin, Hubby bought :o) He just got in line behind me, and that was all he bought, lol...he got the $0.00 total and got the $2 RR. Sweet :o) I was so mad at myself about that $5, since then my total would have been like 3.50 instead...but oh well.
CVS 6/5:

Paid .48 after using coupons and some ECBs and I got back 2 $4 ECBs (more than what I used). Not shabby.
Kmart DOUBLES 6/8:

3 boxes of Cinnamon Toast Crunch (I wanted to "Win CASH!" lol...but I did not.)
They were $2/box, I used a $1/3 coupon...so 3 boxes for $4.
Hershey 100 Cal bars... .99 after a $1 doubled coupon.

3 packs of Pull Ups. 9.99 each, minus 3 $2 coupons doubled to $4... 5.99/pack.
(I bought 2 packs of the WRONG size too, ugh..Ava's too big for 2-3T and they barely even fit Charlotte)
Clean and Clear - .49
Act - .49
St Ives - .69
MAC eyeshadow - free
3 NYC glosses - free

Pert Plus - .49 (and I will get back $3.49 from their Try Me Free rebate!)
3 Axe shampoos, .99 each (and buying 3 got my a free movie ticket!)
Lysol Neutra Air...I want to say it was .29
3 Sani Hands wipes - .49/each
Electrasol - $1.79 after coupon
Huggies wipes - free

Earned a $3 off your next order coupon,
and the Free Movie Ticket from Axe.
Spent like $30, but that was the Pull Ups doing...blech! LOL...saved almost $70 in coupons
Weis - 6/12:
Hit the diaper sale jackpot!

Luvs - 3.99/pack!! (6)
Pull Ups - 5.49/pack
Easy Ups - 5.49
I had no coupons for the Luvs, but 3.99 is a goooood deal so got them...
I had a $5 coupon for Pull ups, a $4, and two $3...so one pack for .49, another for $1.49, and two for $2.49.
I had a $1 coupon for the Easy Ups, so they were $4.49...
Total for all of them, $35.39... average it out and that makes them $3.22/pack!
Kohls - 6/12:
I had $10 Kohl's cash that was expiring (special promotion at the store near us b/c they were remodeling)

4 shirts (yes, we like pink!), all for $3.60 after the Kohl's cash.
CVS 6/12:

1 Gilette Fusion razor... $7.99, minus $4 coupon, and $3.99 ECB... total owed, nothiiiiing! $0.00, lol. Earned $4 ECB. Also printed out a $5 off $15 coupon on my reciept...so since I needed my Revlon makeup I went back in, lol.

4 cans of Campbells soup, I had a raincheck so they were 2 for $1... also had two $1 off 2 coupons, so they were all free, lol.
2 Revlon foundations, 13.29, b1g1. I also had a $2 CVS coupon for it... I was mad I didn't have any mfg coupons, lol...but oh well.
So since the total before coupons was over $15, I could use the $5/15, then the $2 CVS Revlon coupon, then the 2 $1 soup coupons, and I used 2 ECBS...a $4 and a $2... total I paid for everything was .29! Scoooore on the makeup, lol. Too bad they weren't producing ECBs, haha..but I can't really complain.
Walgreens 6/12:

2 Reach toothbrushes, on sale for .99, used a $1.50 off 2 Reach products coupon, made them .28 each.
Purex detergent/softener sheets... $4.99, after a $1 coupon.
M&Ms as a filler so I could use my $5 RR...not sure what I had to get them, but it wasn't accepting my RR at checkout so I just grabbed them and said try it after ringing those up and it worked... so... after using that $5 I paid $1.33, and got back $2.
I will also get back $5.99 from Purex because they have a rebate offer for those sheets!! :o)
Kmart doubles AGAIN, lol 6/12:

Clean & Clear - .49

Act (2) - .49/each
Listerine (2) - free
Axe Shampoo - .99
Axe body wash - 1.49
Axe body wash - 2.49
(2 differnt coupons for the body wash)
(AND I wouldn't have bought them, but I wanted the movie ticket for buying 3 Axe products,
only to discover after checking out that promotion was over on the 9th..grrr, lol)
Sani Hands Wipes (2) - .49/each
Oust surface spray - free
Out air spray (2) - free
Glade carpet powder - .19
Huggies wipes (2) - free
Reach floss (2) - free
2 pairs of shorts - 3.50each
2 shirts - 3.50 each
(shirts not pictured, lol..we went out for dinner after Kmart,
and the kids had been at my mom's getting messy while I shopped, so it's lucky I bought shirts, lol)
I used a $5/50 coupon, and I had the $3 store coupon from the last trip, but they wouldn't let me use them both...and this order printed me a $7 coupon!! Sooooo, I went back in, lol

2 tank tops for the girls, $1.79 each. Paid .58 after the $3 store coupon.
Did a second transaction...

Mr Bubble - .79
Dove (4) - free
Clean & Clear - .49

May 10, 2009

It was a water bottle (it's actually really nice), a necklace that had ear plugs in it, a keychain tire thing that opens up and had a poncho in it, the hat, and a t-shirt...they were all in that clear backpack. The shirt was all folded up in the shape of a car so that's why it's all wrinkly. Ava was so excited it had to all be opened up and inspected immediately...no time for pictures! lol
KMART!!! Oh how I enjoy their doubles! Can't wait for them to do it again, lol.

So, the total "value" of all this (and I say "value" because I'm going by what Kmart charges, and while they do have sales and such I think most of their prices are higher than say, Walmart)...anyway, total "value" was $147.73!!
I did a few different transactions because you can only use 25 coupons per transaction, and only 4 of the exact same coupon, so I did a big one, and then a few more to get the rest of the Dove and to make sure the makeup rang up right... then Mike and I ran back in later for some drinks so I used my last Clean and Clear coupon to snag another face wash... so I added up the total of all of them (minus the cost of the soda, LOL, that sooo didn't count for this!) and it was $7.96. The TAX was $4.45. That's more than half of what I paid!!
Glade carpet freshener - $2.19. Had a $1 coupon doubled making it cost .19!
Oust Surface & Air - $3.79. $2 coupons, doubled to make them both FREE (2)
Wet Ones wipes - $2.29, $1 coupon made them .29/each (2)
2000 Flushes - $2.99, had a $1 coupon, made it .99 (Mike is obsessed with having those, lol)
Glade Candle - $3.49. I had a $1.50 coupon, so it was .49,
Glade candle refills - $3.69, had a coupon for buy a candle, get refills FREE
Ponds Towlettes - $2.75. Had a $1.50 coupon, made them free.
Halls cough drops - $1.49. $.75 coupon, made them free.
Clean & Clear face wash - $4.49/each, I had $2 coupons for each making them .49/each. (5)
NYC Lip Sliders - $2.99. I had $3 coupons for those, so they didn't double, but they made them free. (2)
NYC Lipgloss Rollers - $1.99. Had $1 coupons, made them free (I'm TOTALLY collecting these now, going to up them in party bags for any girls that come to Ava's birthday party). (2)
Dry Idea deodorants - $3.49. Used $2 coupons, free! (4)
Secret deodorant - $2.34... I think my coupon was for $1, making it .34
Dove Visibly Smooth deodorant - $3.99, $2 coupons made them free (12)
Sunsilk Shampoo and Conditioner $3 each, so $6. I had a $2 off 2 coupon, so it was $2, I was going to pass on that until I saw the bonus packs!! Two stuck together as buy one get one free, so it was 4 shampoos/conditioners for $2. Not bad... 50 cents each. (2 or 4 depending how you look at it, lol)
ACT mouthwash - $2.99... used a $1 coupon, so it was .99
Pounce Cat Treats - $1.29/each...used a $1.50 off 2 coupon, so it made them both free. (2)
Quaker Rice Cake snacks - $1.99..used a $1 coupon, made them free.
I also used a $5 off $50 Kmart coupon on the larger transaction... I full intended to only buy what was FREE but I couldn't pass up a few of the deals even with them not being free, lol. I totally wanted to see that tax and total were the same, lol... I'm such a nerd. I did pull that off with the transactions were I only purchased the Dove. Unfortunately you have to pay tax on the pre-coupon total.
I did pick up two of these travel kits though at Rite Aid because they're normally $3.99, and were on sale for $1.99, and I had a $1 coupon that could be combined with a $1 Rite Aid coupon making them free. Fine print on the coupon said you could only use it once (the RA coupon) so I couldn't use it on both which sucked, but I didn't know what else to get that would be worth it to get me to actually have a total to pay, lol, so I just went ahead and got 2 since 2 for $.98 wasn't bad ($1.16 with tax..)... and I used the gift card they sent me for waging war with a coupon-mama who KNOWS HER STUFF, lol...so I wasn't actually spending anything anyway..and I still have plenty left on the gift card to buy 13 more with my rainchecks, lol.
The deal with that is buy $25 in J&J products, get a $10 rebate check. So you buy 13 of the things that were on sale for $1.99 to get your total up to $25, use the $5 off $25 Rite Aid coupon available, use 13 $1 coupons (found everywhere, lol, some printables, some from the paper), and 1 of the coupons from the paper (but I can't use that one so my total will be higher than planned by $1...big deal) and pay $6.xx (in my case I'll pay $7.xx) and get a $10 check after submitting the rebate :o) Cha-ching! Love getting paid to shop! Doubly much because I'll be paying with my gift card, lol...so I'll be out of pocket NOTHING and still get paid.

Then I got home and this was in the mail :o) I signed it, handed it to hubby, and said "Okay, there, I just paid for my shopping today, and I expect the change," hehehe.

May 6, 2009

I spent $1.94!! Total coupons used was $13, but that doubled to take an extra $10.25 off! (since they don't let you get overage, but will allow it to double up to the price of the product). Kmart is pricey but man those doubles are niiiiiiiiice and you can get so much cheap cheap cheap. The girls love those nail decals.
Clean and Clear cleansing pads - $3.50. $2 coupon doubled to make them free. x 2
Renuzit Air Neutralizer - $1.72 (??) $1 coupon doubled to make it free.
Kotex pads - $1.xx, $1 coupon doubled, all free
NYC roller lip gloss (perfect for Ava!!) - $1.99 - doubled $1 coupon - freeeee
Sally Hansen Nail Polish - $2.39 (?? it's been too long, I forget, lol), doubled $1 coupon - .39!
Kiss Nail Art - $2.29 - $1 coupon doubled to make them .29 each. (3)

Checked the mail and got the Fitness tote I "won" (was one of the 1st 1,000 or 10,000 or something to enter to get it). We were up at midnight and it was a text it thing so Mike texted it for me and we got it :o)
It had a full size CVS brand 70 spf sunscreen (and if you know me, I neeeeeed that 70spf! lol) It says it compares to Neutrogena...it's good stuff, I already used it.
Vaseline lotion in a gel form...also full size. I guess good for after sun, if you've got a sunburn? It reminded me of aloe gel.
Olay Body wash, full size.
Pantene Shampoo, full size
Sample of Playtex Sport tampons
$5 CVS gift card (what I actually wanted most, lmao!) and then of course it came in the tote bag, which is actually heavy duty and would make a great beach bag or even be strong enough to carry groceries if I use it for that.

It's always fun when I check the mail and get something I have no idea where it came from. Don't remember signing up for a sample, or winning anything... it was a nice surprise :o) It came directly from Dove and it's a full size deodorant with a LOT of $2 coupons!!! I should be able to snag a bunch of free or cheap Dove deodorant at the Kmart doubles...yeehaw! :o) I will absolutely share too, lol, even I don't need a stockpile of 50+ deodorants. I really like this stuff too, smells great.

6 Bags of Nabisco Snak Saks. All .52 each after using the Target coupons.
Dry Idea deodorant - free after a $2 coupon
Pull Ups, I was excited about because Ava wears them at night still...I had a $3 coupon and they were clearanced to $8.74...so I got them for $5.74!! I was there to buy pull ups mostly anyway, and we usually just get the Target brand b/c it's like $10. I forget the exact price...but that was an awesome find. I had more $2 coupons and I should have bought more but I was blinded by the $3 coupon, lol. Of course they don't have any more now :o(
Also got Jack some Party Mix because I had a b1g1 Target coupon and a $1/2 manufacturs coupon so it was .42 total for both of them.

MY NEW LAUNDRY SORTER!!! It was 67.xx from Amazon and I didn't actually pay a cent because I used my survey gift certificates...woohoo! I would never spend that much on a laundry sorter but I wanted something decorative since it's in a commonly seen area.

It kind of sucked because I couldn't print out the $2.25 coupon that was available for the Ecotrin. I grimaced when I paid, lol, but I wanted to get the $2 reward for buying it so I did.
Ecotrin - $2
2 Rimmel Eyeshadows. B1G1, made them 2.50 each. Had $1 coupons so I paid $1.50 each. That was stupid of me, lol...I really didn't need them and I'm sure if I waited I could have gotten a better deal than that.
I used a $2 RR I had and paid $3.xx and got a $2 RR back. That sucked. I am spoiled and don't like paying out of pocket more than I get back to use again, LOL.

CVS was better... I guess :o)
2 Zooth toothbrushes. They only had Hotwheels left but I know the girls will love them anyway, lol. They were $1.99 each, and I had a B1G1 coupon. You also got a $2 ECB for buying two.
Rimmel mascara was B1G1 so I used a coupon for a Free Sexy Curves mascara and that took off $6.xx (the mascara was $7.xx, so I really paid $1 for it...) and got the Glam Eyes mascara free... 2 for a $1 isn't bad, lol...and it looked through them all and found ones that had bonus eye liner pencils!
Used the $5 gift card I got, shown above somewhere...and didn't spend a cent out of myyy pocket ($1.01 on the gift card)... and got back a $2 ECB. Now that's what I like "spending" $1 to get $2, lol.
