I'm too lazy to go find my reciept right now, but this was at Giant.

I bought 8 Hungry Jack pancake mixes ($1.50/ea), 2 syrups ($2.50/ea).  Got the $10 off instantly, used four $1/2 coupons and two buy syrup get pancake mix free coupons.  Made them all FREE (and I have already given some of the pancake mix away, lol).

I also picked up the potatoes ($2.50), 8 ears of corn ($2), and a bunch of bananas (.59/lb...I think they were nearly $2 for the bunch)...I used a $2/$5 produce coupon and paid right around $4...probably closer to $4.50 for everything.

After I went home to put away all the waffles from Giant I saw we needed milk, and I figured we still had more room in the freezer to cram a few more waffles in, haha.

In the Fuel for School coupon booklets that you can find at some stores right now, there is a coupon for $2 off a gallon of milk when you buy two multipacks of crackers, so I purchased two packs of crackers, eight boxes of waffles, and a gallon of milk.  The only coupon I used was the one I already mentioned (well, and the $10 catalina).

Paid $1.49 for all, and got a $10 catalina back again (which I then gave back to my mom, hehe) :o)

Why pay $3.49 for *just* a gallon of milk, when you can get all of this for less?  :o)

I paid twenty nine cents for all of this!! :o)

Giant had an awesome deal this week where if you bought 5 of certain items you got $5 off your total, and when you bought 10, you got $10 off your total as well as a $10 catalina coupon to use on your next order...  which could be 10 more of the qualifying items, lather, rinse, repeat.

My mom went and got started, gave me her catalina...I went and shopped, and gave the remaining $10 catalina back to her when I was done (I did 6 transactions at one store, and stopped at another later in the day, I'll post that in a minute...  GREAT shopping day, between Giant and CVS, which will also be posted in a bit).

This was a special trip. I didn't need anything, but we were planning a trip to Hershey Park and Giant had a promotion going on where if you bought a $40 of Kraft products, you would recieve a free ticket.

Tickets normally retail $51.95 for adults, so it's a deal in itself...but if you use coupons?? Totally worth it to go shopping and load up on groceries with this promotion since we were going to have to buy tickets anyway.

Bought all of that, spent $96.23 (total savings listed on receipt, $117.72), and got 4 free tickets (and gas points)!! Now, I normally would NOT spend what I did on those particular items, however the tickets would have cost $207.80 to just buy at the park... so overall it was not bad at ALL.

The manager at Giant was totally impressive as well... we had I think 8 packs of hot dogs on our list (they were b1g1 and the free didn't count for the $40 amount, so we would have only been buying 4, actually) to make the deal work...but once we got there, of course on the last day of the promotion, they were OUT of Oscar Mayer dogs... my mom talked to the manager, and he said to just get everything else on our list, and he would "make it work," so that we got all four tickets like we had planned to. NICE customer service. And yay for mom who doesn't give up like I probably would have and just bought something else on the list without coupons :o)
