This was forever ago..but I think I paid less than $1 for all of this and probably earned more than I spent back or I wouldn't have bought so much junk,  haha.

A fun craft I made for the girls room.  :o)

So, I spent .66 there and noticed some things rang up wrong.  Went back in (to Rite Aid) and got a $13.66 gift card for the difference.  Woot!

A free jug of laundry detergent for being a Purex Insider!

I  can't rememeber what I spent here...  I know the EOS lip stuff was free, as were the candy bars/M&Ms, jellybeans, and the toothpaste.

Free after UPs!

$5.03 on a gift card!

Box of Spring Cleaning supplies from Bzz Agent and SC Johnson!

I won these Glow Naturals products from another blog giveaway, I *love* them.

Spent .26, got $4!

It's a ADDICTION, I tell you!! :P

And before anyone says anything about shelf clearing, I did NOT.  I went to four different Rite Aids and did four transactions.  So, there.  :P  And yes, that's a lot of ice cream and chips, but hubby will take chips to work to munch on and well, we LIKE ice cream!  And if I can get it free, I'm gonna, haha.  That's why I have a nice great big deep freezer in the garage, so I can stock up at rock bottom prices and we have it when we want it...which might be tonight, or two weeks from now, lol.  ;o)

Now that my little rant is over, haha, my grand total spent after coupons and UP rewards was a whopping $2.20 out of my own pocket!!  And that's including tax!  For 49 items!!  That woud have cost me $112.27 without coupons and UP rewards.

Since there was so many transactions I didn't bother breaking it down by reciept, I started the day off with $70 in UP rewards I ended my Rite Aid shopping spree with $81 in UP rewards (woot, $11 more than I started with!) and plus I will get a $7.99 rebate for purchasing the AMO Complete.

How's THAT for getting paid to shop??  :o)  That's like $16.79 profit when you combine the $11 in UPs more than I started with and the $7.99 rebate, and subtract the measly $2.20 I spent!

First I got two Oberto.  $2.50 each, used a $3 Up Reward and two $1 coupons.

Got back three $1 Up rewards to make up for the Ups I spent!  :o)

I then purchased 2 Stayfree, 2 Oberto, and 2 Hormel.  After coupons and $8 in UPs I paid .48!

...and got back:  $7 in Ups

Thennnnn, I got 2 Stayfree, 2 Oberto, 1 Hormel, 2 Quaker Oatmeal, 4 Special K, and 1 Blink Tears.  After coupons and $15 in UPs, I spent a grand total of .23.  And got back $12 in UPs, and a $7.99 rebate for the Blink Tears.
So all in all I spent .71 out of pocket, and $26 in UP rewards.   I "lost" $4 in UPs because I only got back $22, but I got $7.99 cash back from the rebate.  I'm happy with that!

My UP rewards were taller than my four year old!! :o)

A breakdown of what I got for what according to my UPs:

(3) $3 for Freshmatic.
(7) $1 for Food Snacks.
(1) $5 for Special K.
(1) $20 Resolution Reward.

(1) $10 for Aquafresh.

 Rite Aid.

I did this in two transactions.  Ended up spending a little more than I wanted to, but for what I got I'm okay with that.  I spent .63 in my first transaction, and $2.35 in my second... 23 products for a grand total of $2.98 out of pocket.

I went in with $20 in UP rewards that were expiring that day.  I spent them all, but I walked out with $21 in UPs to roll again after all was said and done.  :o)  The school supplies had tags that said $2 UP with purchase.  They did not print correctly according to the signage, but the manager both took the $2 off that should have printed from my first transaction off of the total on my second transaction, and then wrote me a raincheck with the amount of UPs I was owed after my second transaction.

Rite Aid:  .99...and that's all I remember w/o looking at my reciept.

Actually, I do remember now that I think about it, the beef jerkey was $1.99...and I got $1 UP for each one, but I can't remember if they were $2.99 and the $1 UP made them $1.99, or if they WERE $1.99 and the $1 UP made them .99 after UP.  Eh.

The Hormel Compleats/Simply Asia were $1.99 with a $1 UP, and I used a $1 coupon on each making them free.

I *do* remember I only paid .99 after my coupons/UP rewards.

 Walgreens:  $1.xx (.66 I think...hubby threw in the Hershey's bar...he likes to sabotage my totals...hehe)

I got back $7.

Rite Aid:  All I remember is I spent less than $1 and I got back $3 more in UPs than I used.  Terrible, I know, LOL.  The Hormel was the same deal as above.  The Colgate was $3.50 with a $3.50 UP on each.  I used one $1 coupon on those.  Tape was b1g1, with a $1 UP on each.  The foam kits were $2.99 each and I used one $5/2 coupon.  The Revlon nail stuff was 40% off and I thiiiink I got UPs for it...fairly sure there is also a rebate and I also used a $3 coupon that basically made them free.  I also used a $5/$25...

NOT the best post in the world here in regards to detail...just trying to clear off my camera.  If/when I find the reciepts (I need to, especially since I need to enter them online for the Rite Aid rebates) I'll update this the right way.  ;o)

December 9, 2010

Paid .15 out of pocket for:

1 box chocolates (they substituted Whitmans for Pot of Gold)
1 Cloraseptic
2 Revlon nail polished
4 Hershey's Kisses
1 Colgate Total

I got back $9 in UP rewards, which was also the amount of UP rewards I used, so I broke even.  I think there was/is a rebate on the cloraseptic as well, but I am behind on entering my reciepts.

December 6, 2010

Total spent for all of the above?  Just seventy-five cents!  I originally paid $5.75, but thought that sounded "off" so after checking over my reciept I realized the $5/$10 coupon I had for the nail polish did not scan so I went back in and they gave me $5 in cash back.  On top of that, I will get back a $5 rebate check for purchasing the John Frieda..which was only $1.34/bottle and I used $3 in coupons on as well.  Total money maker.  I also got back $8 in UP rewards for purchasing the Sharpies, and another $8 for purchasing the nail polish.  I used $16 in UP rewards to pay with along with my coupons so I broke even on those.

Does it bug anyone else that it says "22 Items" when I only purchased 13?  It counts all my coupons as items.  Drives me crazy when I'm posting reciept pictures, haha.

The $1 Rebate for purchasing Bee M.D. throat drops.  They were free after Single Check Rebate at Rite Aid, too!

November 28, 2010

My Black Friday shopping...  I'm so very exciting, I hit up the drugstores with my mom.  :o)

First up was Rite Aid:

I did three transactions.  They were all out of the Cottonelle for $1.88 (with $1 UP reward!) so they were substituting Charmin or Scott and just charging .88 for it.

2 Charmin 4-packs  (.88 each)
1 Motrin PM  ($4)
2 Colgate Total (1.77 each)
2 Hershey's Pot of Gold candy boxes ($3.99 each)
10 Hershey's/Mars candy bars (.50 each)
1 Philips remote control ($4.99)
1 Noxema Razors ($3.99)
1 Got2Be Hairspray ($4.99)
2 Disney figures (.89, and .99)
2 Hair dryers ($9.99 each)
3 boxes of cereal ($1.99 each)
2 Vaseline lotions ($2.99 each)
2 Old Spice deodorants ($2.50 each)

I spent a grand total of $4.08 after coupons, including tax, out of my own pocket (for just over $75 in products!).  I will get back $14.98 in rebates, so already a profit of $10.41...but I also still have UP rewards left ($16!) to spend next time I shop.

Then we headed to CVS:

They were out of stock on almost all of the Black Friday freebies, but that's okay because CVS is amazing with rainchecks.

1 Eucerin lotion ($6.99)
2 Excedrin (.99)
1 Philips headphones ($6.99)
5 Hershey's candy (.50 each)
1 Munch bar (.22 clearance...filler)
1 Carmex (.99)
2 Old Spice deodorants ($4 each)

Everything was free after ECB except for the Munch bar, lol.  I used mostly ECBs to pay, but I did end up paying a grand total of $1.22 out of pocket.  I donated $1 to St. Judes.  If not for that it would have been .22, but hey, I save more than enough to donate $1 at the register.  :o)

I did a couple transactions, mostly because they found stuff they were in stock on while I was asking for rainchecks... but I still have $14.94 in ECBs to use next time I shop.
